General

Diagnostic equipment manufactured and developed in Germany: sphygmomanometers, stethoscopes, oto-ophthalmoscopes, laryngoscopes, examination lamps and monitors.

Sphygmomanometers are classified as mercury (now largely obsolete), aneroid or analogue, and digital or automatic. Stethoscopes come in many types: classic, paediatric, cardiology, veterinary and electronic, among others. The electronic stethoscope is gaining increasing ground as it offers considerable improvements over the traditional model — greater frequency response, better sound sensitivity and a volume control to reduce the level when the sound is too loud for the human ear.

Our oto-ophthalmoscope sets contain everything needed for fundus and ear canal examinations. They come complete with an ophthalmoscope head, an otoscope head, a full handle and a case for storing equipment safely and comfortably. Our laryngoscopes feature advanced illumination technology with high-quality fibre optics; the specially designed blades provide optimal visibility and facilitate intubation.

Our diagnostic equipment range also includes high-quality examination lamps and monitors.

Laparoscopy / Endoscopy

Diagnostic equipment manufactured and developed in Germany: sphygmomanometers, stethoscopes, oto-ophthalmoscopes, laryngoscopes, examination lamps and monitors.

An endoscopy is a procedure that allows the physician to see inside the body. It uses an instrument called an endoscope or viewing tube. Endoscopes have a tiny camera attached to a long, thin tube. The physician guides it through a body tunnel or opening to view the inside of an organ.

Laparoscopy involves making 3 to 4 incisions near the area to be treated, under spinal anaesthesia for pelvic interventions or general anaesthesia for abdominal cavity procedures. Through one of the incisions, a laparoscope is introduced — a cable with a video camera and a lamp at the distal end, connected via fibre optics to a monitor that the surgeon uses to perform the operation. The remaining incisions are used to introduce the surgical instruments required for the procedure when needed.

Both the laparoscope and endoscope are constructed in stainless steel for greater durability. They are of superior quality, manufactured using machine-controlled technology. Their modular design makes them safe to use and easy to handle for optimal surgeon comfort.
